About Bob

As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker, I can offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.

From the time I was young, I realized I had a natural gift for developing people and leading them to their own personal successes. Whether as a college student pointing people toward fulfilling their own achievements, a business owner reflecting upon establishing others companies or as a seasoned law enforcement professional. The one thing they all have in common is the satisfaction and success received in collaborating with clients, guiding them from where they are to where they want to be.

As a professional, I spent 26 years developing, implementing and administering successful, specialized law enforcement programs. For 21 of these years I was a law enforcement administrator for the County of Los Angeles, California. I was hired to build tactical teams and units, network with Government, Community Agencies and Non- Profits to pour into the lives of both officers and community officials, making communities safer while developing leaders on all levels.

At one point in my career, I was assigned to a very poorly governed youth correctional facility, tasked to restructure the overall program and operation. Within a year, with the help of a very gifted supervisor who believed in me, through developing myself and staff, the program was awarded the second highest overall rating on the California State level in competing against hundreds of other facilities of its kind. These same type of successes continued within the leadership and development of specialized gang and narcotic programs which gained State and National recognition and accreditation. They continue to serve as a catalyst for ongoing law enforcement models which remain in effect to date.

Following retirement, I was selected to revitalize, reorganize and restructure several Non-Profit organizations by coaching their leadership, drawing out the best from within themselves to drive their organizations in the direction of desired success. As a result, these programs continue to remain operational and functional.
Although I have degrees in Administration of Justice, Corrections and Leadership, my education, career and many years of learning through both successes and failures were a natural progression into joining the John Maxwell Team. I have learned my beliefs and core values of honesty, candor and the adding of value to those around me is a good fit in which I am honored to have been selected to be a part of. Through teaching and building peoples value, we then train how success comes from adding value by intentionally being others centered. We transition people from being project managers to skilled leaders.
